Thermally Driven Atmospheric Escape: Transition from Diffusion-limited to Drag-off Escape
We examine the transition from diffusion-limited to drag-off escape using a direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) model developed to simulate planetary atmospheres, referred to as Harrah.

Targeting TNBC: core–shell polycationic polyurea dendrimers with inherent anticancer activity
Core–shell polycationic PURE dendrimers were tested in TNBC‐derived tumor models. Both formulations selectively targeted TNBC and effectively reduced tumor volume. PUREG4‐OEI48 suppressed tumor growth without detectable toxicity, whereas PUREG4‐OCEI24, despite showing efficacy, induced hepatic toxicity.

A persistently low level of atmospheric oxygen in Earth’s middle age
Constraining the rise in atmospheric oxygen through the early Earth is important to understand the evolution of complex life. Here, the authors find that a major rise in atmospheric oxygen level occurred after the Great Oxidation Event, followed by pO2 ...

Clinical analysis reveals significant dysregulation of FGFRL1 in esophageal cancer (EC) patients. RNAi‐coupled next‐generation sequencing (NGS) and in vitro study reveal FGFRL1‐mediated EC progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and Notch pathways. Functional assays confirm its role in tumor growth, migration, and invasion.

We present the JWST/NIRSpec G395H transmission spectrum of the young (10–30 Myr) transiting planet V1298 Tau b (9.85 ± 0.35 R _⊕ , T _eq = 670 K). Combined Hubble Space Telescope and JWST observations reveal a haze-free, H/He-dominated atmosphere with a

KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...

Aged human bmMSCs are seeded in the scaffold. Osteoblastic induction can slightly increase cell's bone‐forming activity to produce bone‐like tissues, shown as the sporadic xylenol orange‐stained spots (the lower left image). Notably, pioglitazone plus EGCG co‐treatment dramatically increases cell's bone‐forming activity and bone‐like tissue production (

Understanding B-type Supergiants in the Low Metallicity Environment of the SMC
Spectroscopic analyses of 7 SMC B-type supergiants and 1 giant have been undertaken using high resolution optical data obtained on the VLT with UVES. FASTWIND, a non-LTE, spherical,line-blanketed model atmosphere code was used to derive atmospheric and ...

HIV‐1 establishes immediate latency in T cells expressing the viral Nef protein
Nef is a viral protein often omitted from HIV‐1 reporter viruses. Consequently, its role in viral latency is unclear. We developed three novel dual reporter HIV‐1 derivatives that express Nef and allow for detection of latent and productive infection. Using these reporters, we show that Nef does not affect the establishment of immediate viral latency ...
