Pure spin-angular momentum coefficients for non-scalar one-particle operators in jj-coupling
A revised program for generating the spin-angular coefficients in relativistic atomic structure calculations is presented. When compared with our previous version [G.Gaigalas, S.Fritzsche and I.P.Grant, CPC 139 (2001) 263], the new version of the Anco ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Single Photon Ignition of Two-photon Super-fluorescence through the Vacuum of Electromagnetic Field [PDF]
The ignition of two-quantum collective emission of inverted sub-ensemble of radiators due to mutual interaction of this sub-ensemble with other two dipole active atomic subsystems in process of two-photon exchanges between the atoms through the vacuum ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

This paper reviews several basic emission properties of the UV emission lines observed in the spectra of quasars and type-1 active galactic nuclei, mainly as a function of the ionization parameter, metallicity, and density of the emitting gas.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Data on Stark Broadening of N VI Spectral Lines
Data on Stark broadening parameters, spectral line widths, and shifts for 15 multiplets of N VI, whose spectral lines are broadened by collisions with electrons, protons, alpha particles (He III) and B III, B IV, B V and B VI ions, are presented.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Formation of a molecular Bose-Einstein condensate and an entangled atomic gas by Feshbach resonance
Processes of association in an atomic Bose-Einstein condensate, and dissociation of the resulting molecular condensate, due to Feshbach resonance in a time-dependent magnetic field, are analyzed incorporating non-mean-field quantum corrections and ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
