An Intuitive Approach to Inertial Sensor Bias Estimation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A simple approach to gyro and accelerometer bias estimation is proposed. It does not involve Kalman filtering or similar formal techniques. Instead, it is based on physical intuition and exploits a duality between gimbaled and strapdown inertial systems.

Monocular SLAM system for MAVs aided with altitude and range measurements: a GPS-free approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
A typical navigation system for a Micro Aerial Vehicle (MAV) relies basically on GPS for position estimation. However, for several kinds of applications, the precision of the GPS is inappropriate or even its signal can be unavailable. In this context, and

A Novel Movable UWB Localization System Using UAVs

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Recently, interest in ultrawideband (UWB)-based localization systems has increased in various application fields. However, since UWB anchors are usually fixed, they work only within the limited range that UWB measurement signals can reach.
