ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.

ABSTRACT Background Animal‐assisted activities (AAAs) with therapy dogs have shown positive effects on patient well‐being and quality of life in various areas of medicine, including pediatric oncology. However, research on this topic is limited. The aim of this study is to present the current status of AAA in pediatric oncology in Germany, Austria, and

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Magnetic attitude control for satellites [PDF]
In this paper it is proven that three-axis stabilization of satellites using magnetorqers is uniformly globally asymptotically stable (UGAS). The application of Matrosovs theorem allows for removal of the assumption that the geomagnetic (internal and external) field is periodic in order to establish this stability result.
