As CMOS technology approaches fundamental energy limits, new paradigms for low‐power information processing are required. Magnetic systems are attractive for their spin transport, yet current‐induced magnetization control is energy inefficient. Multiferroic heterostructures enable energy‐efficient electric field manipulation of magnetism.

Nonlinear Ion-Specific Control of Underwater Adhesion by Bottlebrush Polymer Interfaces. [PDF]
The efficiency of underwater adhesion is modulated by ion‐specific effects. Strongly hydrated Na+ remains separated from the mica surface by its hydration shell, preserving access to binding sites, whereas weakly hydrated K+ can partially dehydrate and occupy ditrigonal cavities.

Dissipative gradient nonlinearities prevent $\delta$-formations in local and nonlocal attraction-repulsion chemotaxis models [PDF]
We study some attraction repulsion chemotaxis models, characterized by nonlinearities laws for the diffusion of the cell density, and for the chemosensitivities and the production rates of the chemoattractant and the chemorepellent.

. At low Reynolds numbers, the hydrodynamic interaction between dumbbells driven by an external rotating field can be attractive or repulsive. Dumbbells of dissimilar asymmetric shape or different coupling to the external field undergo conformational ...

Attraction and Repulsion of Nucleons: Sources of Stellar Energy
The potential energy of a nuclide is enhanced by about 10 MeV per nucleon from the repulsion between like nucleons, and diminished by about 20 MeV per nucleon from the attraction between unlike nucleons.

A yolk–shell PTFE‐based composite (YSP) enables tunable, robust hydrophobic–water interfaces for efficient, on‐demand sonocatalytic H2O2 generation and pollutant degradation. ABSTRACT The use of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) particles to promote sonochemical H2O2 production has attracted growing interest, as cavitation bubbles formed at or near their ...

Magnetic Water Cleaning of Estrogens via Tight yet Dynamic Binding to Nanoparticles
Micropollution is one of the big challenges humanity faces with estrogen hormones being emerging pollutants of concern. Here, a supramolecular design strategy is presented that generates a simple nano‐adsorbent material to magnetically remove low‐concentrated estrogens from water.

Imperfect Oriented Attachment of Gold Nanoparticles
The cover illustrates the imperfect oriented attachment of gold nanoparticles in liquid, as revealed by in situ liquid‐phase transmission electron microscopy. Triggered by the abrupt collapse of the interfacial hydration layer, two misoriented nanoparticles undergo a kinetically driven “jump‐to‐coalescence”.

Local and global solvability in attraction-repulsion chemotaxis systems with L2-initial data [PDF]
This paper deals with the attraction-repulsion chemotaxis system under homogeneous Neumann initial-boundary conditions, where Ω ⊂ Rn (n ≤ 3) is a smoothly bounded domain and a,b,c,χ,ξ,α,β,γ,δ > 0 and τ ∈ {0, 1} are constants.
