Circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of cachexia and sex‐specific cancer in senior dogs. In 25 client‐owned dogs, four circulating miRNAs (miR‐15a, miR‐15b, miR‐16, miR‐140) were downregulated in cachexia, with miR‐16 the strongest individual biomarker (AUC = 0.899).

LUNAR is a liver‐specific long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that is highly expressed in normal liver but becomes epigenetically silenced in hepatocellular carcinoma through promoter hypermethylation. Loss of LUNAR is associated with NOTCH activation, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, and metastasis, whereas restoring LUNAR restrains metastatic progression ...

Attribute-based data transfer with filtering scheme in cloud computing [PDF]
Data transfer is a transmission of data over a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint communication channel. To protect the confidentiality of the transferred data, public-key cryptography has been introduced in data transfer schemes (DTSs). Data transfer

Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics
Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.

Cryptographic Key Distribution In Wireless Sensor Networks Using Bilinear Pairings [PDF]
It is envisaged that the use of cheap and tiny wireless sensors will soon bring a third wave of evolution in computing systems. Billions of wireless senor nodes will provide a bridge between information systems and the physical world.

Attribute-based Signcryption for Circuits from Multi-linear Maps
:Attribute-based signcryption provides not only the chance that the participants access the cipher texts by their attributes instead of identities, but also the combined security of confidentiality and unforgeability.

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Homomorphic-Policy Attribute-Based Key Encapsulation Mechanisms [PDF]
Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) allows to target the recipients of a message according to a policy expressed as a predicate among some attributes. Ciphertext-policy ABE schemes can choose the policy at the encryption time.In this paper, we define a new ...
