Hypothalamic POMC Neurons Gate the Fear‐Feeding Trade‐Off

Hungry animals must continually arbitrate between feeding and defensive behaviors when confronted with potential threats. We show that hypothalamic POMC neurons engage CRH‐expressing stress circuits and downstream hormonal responses to coordinate this behavioral selection between competing behaviors.

Nonlinear Dynamics and Invariants of Motion in ReRAM Cells

A second‐order cell, hosting one capacitor and two back‐to‐back ReRAMs, admits Invariants of Motion: its states lie on one‐dimensional manifolds at all times. The cell shows quiescent monostability or bistability, depending on the manifold index. At equilibrium, the capacitor voltage vanishes.

Falls among hospital inpatients are associated with significant morbidity and require comprehensive post‐fall assessment. This retrospective cohort study evaluated documentation completeness following inpatient falls in older adults and compared assessments completed using a structured Falls Proforma with standard documentation methods.
