Parathyroid Autofluorescence—How Does It Affect Parathyroid and Thyroid Surgery? A 5 Year Experience
Injury to parathyroid glands during thyroid and parathyroid surgery is common and postoperative hypoparathyroidism represents a serious complication. Parathyroid glands possess a unique autofluorescence in the near-infrared spectrum which could be used ...

Speckle‐Engineered Upconversion Amplification in Nanoemulsion‐Templated Hydrogel Microdomes
Nanoemulsion‐confined PEGDA microdomes generate speckle‐like excitation fields that strongly amplify upconversion luminescence upon dehydration, enabling filter‐free visible readout with reversible on–off switching. DMD‐based lithography yields scalable, shape‐programmable arrays for moisture‐responsive displays and optical encryption.

Fundus Autofluorescence (FAF) is a unique in vivo method of fundus imaging. Although it has been an area of active research over the last half a century, its only in the past decade that major advances have been made in its clinical application. The imaging has its basis in the mapping of normal and abnormal fluorophores in various retinal conditions ...

Aqueous Two‐Phase Bioinks for Discrete Packing and Compartmentalization of 3D Bioprinted Cells
Aqueous two‐phase systems (ATPS) enable the formation of biomimetic interfaces crucial for tissue engineering. However, clinical translation remains limited by the challenge of precisely controlling cellular compartmentalization. Here, we developed ATPS biomaterial inks for 3D bioprinting allowing tuneable droplet formation via NaCl modulation.

Autofluorescence Imaging of Living Yeast Cells with Deep-Ultraviolet Surface Plasmon Resonance
Autofluorescence in living cells on aluminum thin film was excited with deep-ultraviolet surface plasmon resonance (deep-UV SPR). Deep-UV SPR under aqueous medium was excited with Kretschmann configuration by using a sapphire prism. Deep-UV SPR is one of
