Automatic Detection of Fiber Optic Gyroscope Intrinsic Frequency Based on Optimal Projection Approximation

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
To address the complexity and low detection accuracy issues in the intrinsic frequency detection process of fiber optic gyroscopes, a highly precise automatic measurement method based on optimal projection approximation is proposed.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Video shot boundary detection: seven years of TRECVid activity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Shot boundary detection (SBD) is the process of automatically detecting the boundaries between shots in video. It is a problem which has attracted much attention since video became available in digital form as it is an essential pre-processing step to ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Automatic detection of DNS manipulations [PDF]

open access: yes2017 IEEE International Conference on Big Data (Big Data), 2017
The DNS is a fundamental service that has been repeatedly attacked and abused. DNS manipulation is a prominent case: Recursive DNS resolvers are deployed to explicitly return manipulated answers to users' queries. While DNS manipulation is used for legitimate reasons too (e.g., parental control), rogue DNS resolvers support malicious activities, such ...
