Automatically Generating Plans for Manufacturing

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Systems, 2000
While machine planning has attracted great interest among researchers, it has seldom been used outside research labs. One impediment to wide-spread use is that existing planners are often difficult to integrate with other parts of a manufacturing system.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Development and Validation of Deep Learning Preoperative Planning Software for Automatic Lumbosacral Screw Selection Using Computed Tomography

open access: yesBioengineering
Achieving precise pedicle screw placement in posterior lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF) is essential but difficult due to the intricacies of manual preoperative planning with CT scans.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Artificial Intelligence for anatomical segmentation and use cases in CBCTs

open access: yesInternational Dental Journal, 2023
Introduction: Cone beam CTs are generally taken for treatment planning in major dental treatments. A large number of use cases revolve around the detection, segmentation and measurements between different anatomical structures. The output of separate stl

Physics-based Motion Planning with Temporal Logic Specifications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
One of the main foci of robotics is nowadays centered in providing a great degree of autonomy to robots. A fundamental step in this direction is to give them the ability to plan in discrete and continuous spaces to find the required motions to complete a

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Automatic synthesis and use of generic types in planning [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
This work is concerned with the automatic inference of generic types from STRIPS planning domain descriptions. Generic types are higher order types allowing the partition of domains (and components of domains) into different domain classes, including the

Automatic collision avoidance of ships [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
One of the key elements in automatic simulation of ship manoeuvring in confined waterways is route finding and collision avoidance. This paper presents a new practical method of automatic trajectory planning and collision avoidance based on an artificial
