Syntaxin 17 Translocation Mediated Mitophagy Switching Drives Hyperglycemia‐Induced Vascular Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mitophagy switching drives high‐glucose‐induced vascular endothelial injury. Short‐term high‐glucose exposure upregulates Fis1 expression and enhances Fis1‐TBC1D15 interaction, activating Parkin‐mediated mitophagy. Long‐term high‐glucose exposure reduces Fis1 expression, inhibiting Parkin‐mediated mitophagy and triggering mitophagy switching from ...

MMP9High Neutrophils are Critical Mediators of Neutrophil Extracellular Traps Formation and Myocardial Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During a heart attack, neutrophils rapidly activate and differentiate into a specific subset characterized by high levels of MMP9, a tissue‐damaging enzyme, via the SPI1/CST7 pathway. These neutrophils form harmful net‐like structures (Neutrophil extracellular traps, NETs) that exacerbate heart injury.

Mitigating Doxorubicin‐Induced Cardiotoxicity and Enhancing Anti‐Tumor Efficacy with a Metformin‐Integrated Self‐Assembled Nanomedicine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel self‐assembled nanomedicine (PMDDH) has been developed for the co‐delivery of doxorubicin and metformin, aiming to enhance the anti‐tumor efficacy of doxorubicin while alleviating its cardiotoxicity through the activation of cGAS‐STING and AMPK signaling pathways, respectively.

Targeted DNA Nanomachine Enables Specific miRNA‐Responsive Singlet Oxygen Amplification for Precise Cutaneous Squamous Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An intelligent DNA nanomachine based on DNA tetrahedron is proposed, incorporated with aptamer and specific miRNA‐responsive hairpin catalytic assembly (HCA), for precise therapy of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) in mice, with barely systemic toxicity and inflammation.
