Transitivity in flux: the role of Voice and v in the syntax of Dutch (change-of-)location verbs

open access: yesGlossa
Dutch location and change-of-location verbs exhibit seemingly contradictory properties, with characteristics of transitives and unaccusatives mixed.

On variable auxiliary selection in Western Europe

open access: yesLinguistic Research, 2015
Donohue, Cathryn. 2015. On variable auxiliary selection in Western Europe. Linguistic Research 32(2), 469-480. A number of Western European languages use two different auxiliary verbs when forming the perfect aspect with monadic verbs, roughly corresponding to have and be. While such a split is cross-linguistically rare, various studies have shown that

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Satellite auxiliary-propulsion selection techniques. Applications of selection techniques to the ATS-H satellite

open access: yes, 1972
The analysis required to estimate auxiliary-propulsion system requirements for a mission which includes tipoff rate reduction, acquisitions, disturbance torques, orbital disturbances, and spacecraft commanded maneuvers is presented.

Multiple imputation using auxiliary imputation variables that only predict missingness can increase bias due to data missing not at random

open access: yesBMC Medical Research Methodology
Background Epidemiological and clinical studies often have missing data, frequently analysed using multiple imputation (MI). In general, MI estimates will be biased if data are missing not at random (MNAR).

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Geomorphotectonic approach to geology of the Viñales National Park, Cuba

open access: yesJournal of Maps
The geological substratum of Viñales National Park is crossed by fractures and over-thrusts. It includes siliciclastic (Jurassic San Cayetano Formation), carbonate (Late Jurassic to Early Eocene Jagua, Guasasa, Pons and Ancón Formations) and olistostrome

Proteasome inhibitor, ixazomib prevents topoisomerase‐I degradation and reverses irinotecan resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.
