A study on fruit fly host range reveals the low infestation rate of Bactrocera dorsalis (Tephritidae) in Mayotte

open access: yesAgricultural and Forest Entomology, Volume 26, Issue 3, Page 314-326, August 2024.
In Mayotte, we studied fruit fly host range 5–12 years after the invasion of the world's most invasive and polyphagous pests of fruits, Bactrocera dorsalis. Surprisingly, results show low occurrence and infestation rates of B. dorsalis. Only seven host plant species were identified over the 84 collected plant species.

Calcium Application Extends Postharvest Life of Carambola (Averrhoa carambola L.) Fruit

open access: yesHorticultural Research (Japan), 2006
