Calcium Application Extends Postharvest Life of Carambola (Averrhoa carambola L.) Fruit
ゴレンシ(Averrhoa carambola L.)果実の貯蔵性の向上を目的にカルシウム処理を行った.250,500および0 ppm(無処理区)のCa-EDTA溶液に,収穫直後の果実を20分間浸漬した後,果柄部のみが同じカルシウム溶液に浸るよう設置し,30℃の条件で7日間貯蔵した.果実の貯蔵性に対する効果,果実内のカルシウム濃度およびシュウ酸結晶体の観察を行った.1)250 ppm区の果実は貯蔵7日目においてもその商品性を維持した.それらの果実は,0および500 ppm区と比較して果皮硬度およびシュウ酸含有量が高く,また呼吸量が抑制されていた.2)処理を行うことで果実内のすべての部位のカルシウム濃度は増大した.その値は,果肉や果皮と比較して綾部で最大を示した.3 ...
