COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

A travelling-wave-fed slot spiral antenna with wide axial-ratio (AR) bandwidth and beamwidth for GNSS applications is proposed in this paper. The evolution procedure of the proposed antenna can be classified into three steps. Firstly, 12 identical spiral

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Dual‐loop antennas with an expanded axial ratio bandwidth
The authors propose a novel dual‐wire antenna with a balanced feed to increase a 3‐dB axial ratio bandwidth. The antenna comprises loop elements with quasi two‐sources, and the effects of the element distance on the axial ratio bandwidth are revealed ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Multifunctional Metasurface for Linear-to-Linear and Linear-to-Circular Polarization Conversion
This paper presents a compact, multifunctional, passive polarization-converting metasurface (PCM) designed for linear-to-linear polarization (LTLP) and linear-to-circular polarization (LTCP) conversion across distinct, non-overlapping frequency bands ...

Evidence for Room-Temperature Multiferroicity in a Compound with a Giant Axial Ratio
In the search for multiferroic materials magnetic compounds with a strongly elongated unit-cell (large axial ratio c/a) have been scrutinized intensely. However, none was hitherto proven to have a switchable polarization, an essential feature of ferroelectrics.

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...
