Design of 3D Magnetic Tactile Sensors with High Sensing Accuracy Guided by the Theoretical Model

A theoretical model consisting of a machine learning (ML)‐based spatial localization algorithm and a finite‐deformation mechanical model is derived for the button‐like magnetic tactile sensor. The prototype of the tactile sensor is fabricated without tedious and time‐consuming training data acquisition processes before use.
