Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

partial translation algebras for certain discrete metric spaces

open access: yes, 2010
The notion of a partial translation algebra was introduced by Brodzki, Nibloand Wright in [11] to provide an analogue of the reduced group C*-algebrafor metric spaces.

Some results on extended b-metric spaces and Pompeiu-Hausdorff metric.

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper we will show some new results about extended b- metric space. Given an extended b-metric space  (X,d), we may define a new extended b- metric space with Pompeiu- Hausdorff metric H on the set H(X) of the collection of all nonempty ...

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

ON THE METRIC SPACE

open access: yes, 1977
1. 집합 X 上에서 함수 d : X × X→R가 다음 條件 ⓐ, ⓑ, ⓒ를 만족하면 (X,d)는 Metric Space이다. ⓐ d(a,b)=0 때 또 그때에 한해서 a = b ⓑ d(a,b)=d(b,a) ⓓ d(a,b)≤d(a,c)+d(c,b) a, b, c ∈ X인 임의의 元 2. 2-Metric Space (X,ρ)에서, 임의의 a, b, c ∈ X에 대하여 ρ(a,b,c)≥0 가 성립 한다. 3.

Metric for object association in the Keplerian orbits space

open access: yes, 2020
Orbit determination of space debris objects in the context of space surveillance is often performed by associating several sequences of observations related to the same object.

A weakly Stegall space that is not a Stegall space

open access: yes, 2002
A topological space X is said to belong to the class of Stegall (weakly Stegall) spaces if for every Baire (complete metric) space B and minimal usco φ : B2X, φ is single-valued at some point of B.

Partial Fuzzy Metric Space and Some Fixed Point Results [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
summary:In this paper, we introduce the concept of partial fuzzy metric on a nonempty set $X$ and give the topological structure and some properties of partial fuzzy metric space.

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

A Fisher-Rao metric for paracatadioptric images of lines

open access: yes, 2012
In a central paracatadioptric imaging system a perspective camera takes an image of a scene reflected in a paraboloidal mirror. A 360° field of view is obtained, but the image is severely distorted.
