CD28 interaction with B7 costimulates primary allogeneic proliferative responses and cytotoxicity mediated by small, resting T lymphocytes. [PDF]
Engagement of the CD3/T cell antigen receptor complex on small, resting T cells is insufficient to trigger cell-mediated cytotoxicity or to induce a proliferative response.

Design process for messenger RNA vaccines. Candidate proteins are initially screened using immunoinformatics, after which selected epitopes are assembled into a multi‐epitope vaccine. The vaccine construct was evaluated through molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, and in silico immune simulations, followed by population coverage analysis ...

Neurons, immune cells, and other cellular components within the disease microenvironment (such as stromal cells and tumor cells) constitute a dynamically evolving ecosystem. Neurons directly modulate immune cell activity and inflammatory responses through the release of neurotransmitters (e.g., norepinephrine and CGRP), while also promoting tumor ...

LAG‐3+ regulatory T cells suppress the effector but not the proliferative response of naïve cognate antigen‐specific CD4+ T cells in vivo. The suppressed T cells display upregulation of immune checkpoints and downregulation of pro‐inflammatory pathways with enhanced TCR signaling and reduced oxidative metabolism.

T Cell Exhaustion in Hepatocellular Carcinoma: A Substantial Barrier in Immunotherapy
ABSTRACT Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), accounting for over 90% of primary liver cancers, remains a major global challenge for healthcare professionals. While immunotherapy has transformed the landscape of cancer treatment, its success is often limited by immune resistance, particularly through T cell exhaustion which remains a major barrier to ...

ABSTRACT Patients treated with etrolizumab, a monoclonal antibody drug for ulcerative colitis, often develop anti‐drug antibodies (ADA) and neutralising antibodies (NAb). To investigate genetic risk factors, we evaluated associations between HLA alleles and ADA/NAb development. HLA‐DQB1*06:03 demonstrated the most significant association with both ADA (

Advances in T cell–based immunotherapy for osteosarcoma
Osteosarcoma, the most prevalent primary malignant bone tumor in children and adolescents, remains a formidable clinical challenge due to its high metastatic potential and limited therapeutic progress over the past three decades.
