Development and application of classical swine fever virus monoclonal antibodies derived from single B cells

open access: yesVeterinary Research, 2023
Vaccination with E2 subunit vaccines is currently the main measure to control classical swine fever virus (CSFV), which is an endemic disease, and detection of antibodies against CSFV E2 is the most effective way to evaluate herd immunity. In the present

Chikungunya Virus E2 Structural Protein B-Cell Epitopes Analysis

open access: yesViruses, 2022
The Togaviridae family comprises a large and diverse group of viruses responsible for recurrent outbreaks in humans. Within this family, the Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) is an important Alphavirus in terms of morbidity, mortality, and economic impact on ...

The anomalous quadrupole collectivity in Te isotopes

open access: yes, 2016
We present systematic calculations on the spectroscopy and transition properties of even-even Te isotopes by using the large-scale configuration interaction shell model approach with a realistic interaction.

Configuration mixing in $^{188}$Pb : band structure and electromagnetic properties

open access: yes, 2004
In the present paper, we carry out a detailed analysis of the presence and mixing of various families of collective bands in $^{188}$Pb. Making use of the interacting boson model, we construct a particular intermediate basis that can be associated with ...

The Original Mixed Symmetry States - $6^{+}_{1}$ and $6^{+}_{2}$ in $^{48}$Ti [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
The $6^{+}_{1}$ and $6^{+}_{2}$ in $^{48}$Ti form a nearly degenerate doublet. In a single j shell calculation with the matrix elements from experiment the $6^{+}_{1}$ changes sign under the interchange of protons and neutron holes (odd signature) while ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Topographical mapping of epitopes on the glycoproteins of murine hepatitis virus-4 (strain JHM): correlation with biological activities. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1984
Monoclonal hybridoma antibodies (MAb) of defined polypeptide specificity and biological activity were used in a competition binding assay to identify antibody binding sites (epitopes) on the glycoproteins of murine hepatitis virus-4 strain JHM (MHV-4 ...

Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 increases metastatic potential and aggressiveness in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...
