Editorial Commentary: Hip Microinstability: Stability Is the Goal, Plication Is a Tool

Abstract Hip microinstability remains one of the most challenging conditions we encounter in hip preservation surgery. The difficulty is not performing a capsular plication but determining when instability is truly present and clinically relevant. In our experience, no single clinical, radiographic, or intraoperative finding should define the diagnosis.
