ABSTRACT Background and Aims The phosphatidylinositol 3‐kinase (PI3K)/Akt signaling pathway is a central regulator of cellular properties that are essential for cancer progression, including cellular growth, survival, metabolism, and angiogenesis. Dysregulated PI3K/Akt signaling, often caused by genetic alterations in PIK3CA, loss of PTEN, or the ...

BAG3 interacts with eVP40 in a PPxY-dependent manner.
A) Extracts from HEK293T cells transfected with eVP40 or eVP40-ΔPT/PY plus BAG3-WT were first immunoprecipitated (IP) with either normal rabbit IgG or polyclonal anti-eVP40 antisera as indicated. BAG3 was detected in the precipitates by Western blot (WB)

Molecular and Cellular Hallmarks of Age‐Related Vestibular Hair Cell Degeneration
This study utilizes single‐cell RNA‐seq transcriptomes, advanced imaging, and electrophysiology to examine universal and cell‐type‐specific aging signatures of vestibular hair cells. The study shows that impaired hair bundle function is a key driver of age‐related vestibular dysfunction.
