Rheological Behavior of Bamboo Charcoal PET
Advanced Materials Research, 2011In this paper some of rheological properties of bamboo charcoal polyester (BC-PET) are presented. The BC-PET is derived from PET modified through commix with bamboo charcoal master batch. The additive content of blends ranged between 0% and 10%. Rheological measurements were effectuated with a Brookfield viscometer (RVDV-II+Pro).

Synthesis of Biomorphic SiC Ceramic from Bamboo Charcoal
Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2009Biomorphic SiC ceramic was successfully synthesized by reaction sintering between bamboo charcoal and a Si/SiO2 powder mixture. The charcoal was converted into an entirely SiC ceramic inherited with the original bamboo structure. Samples were characterized according to their crystallinity, morphology, microstructures and pore structures.

Adsorption kinetics of activated bamboo charcoal for phenol
Carbon, 2009Dynamic adsorption of phenol at 30 ℃ on activated bamboo charcoal was investigated. Effects of phenol initial concentration and adsorbent size on kinetics were discussed. Three models were used to study the adsorption kinetics. It was found that a pseudo-second-order equation provided the best correlation to the data.
