Improving Saturation-based Bounded Model Checking
Formal verification is becoming a fundamental step in assuring thecorrectness of safety-critical systems. Since these systems are oftenasynchronous and even distributed, their verification requires methodsthat can deal with huge or even infinite state spaces.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Base saturation and corn hybrids under no-tillage system
O conhecimento dos híbridos adaptados a cada condição de reação do solo em sistema plantio direto é de significativa importância técnica. Para avaliar o comportamento de híbridos de milho sob sistema plantio direto, quanto a alguns componentes de ...

Base saturation in mixed substrate for seedlings of Eugenia uniflora and Eugenia involucrata [PDF]
Given the occurrence of a vast amount of degraded areas in Brazil, recovery projects have been necessary. In order to propose a feasible project, we must be concerned about the production of seedlings, preferably native ones, using low-cost inputs.

Perception of saturation in natural objects [PDF]
The distribution of colors across a surface depends on the interaction between its surface properties, its shape, and the lighting environment. Shading, chroma, and lightness are positively correlated: points on the object that have high luminance also ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Plane Cremona maps: Saturation and regularity of the base ideal
One studies plane Cremona maps by focusing on the ideal theoretic and homological properties of its homogeneous base ideal (“indeterminacy locus”). The leitmotiv driving a good deal of the work is the relation between the base ideal and its saturation ...

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Unification with Abstraction and Theory Instantiation in Saturation-based Reasoning [PDF]
This paper explores two new inference rules for reasoning with quantifiers and theories in a saturation-based first-order theorem prover. The focus here is on non-ground clauses, complementing our recent work on AVATAR modulo theories for ground theory reasoning. The current implementation focuses on complete theories, e.g.
