Density functional theory with arbitrary basic variables [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2004
Abstract By modifying the Levy constrained-search formulation, the Hohenberg–Kohn theorem of the density functional theory is extended. The new theorem allows us to choose arbitrary physical quantities as basic variables, which uniquely determine the ground-state properties of the system.

Arbitrary choice of basic variables in density functional theory: Formalism [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review B, 2004
The Hohenberg-Kohn theorem of the density functional theory is extended by modifying the Levy constrained-search formulation. The new theorem allows us to choose arbitrary physical quantities as the basic variables which determine the ground-state properties of the system. Moreover, the theorem establishes a minimum principle with respect to variations

Measurement of basic density of total tree chips

open access: yesSilva Fennica, 1976
The paper describes a method for the measurement of basic density of total tree chips. In the method the chips are placed in a container, which is immersed in a cylinder full of water, and the container is weighted at two levels. In the upper part of the

Study the Exposure of Low-Level Laser on rGO/Ag NPs to Improve the Antibacterial Activity of Different Types of Bacteria

open access: yesNano Biomedicine and Engineering, 2022
The rGO-Ag NPs nanocomposite was synthesized by an easy, low-cost, one-step chemical method. The nanocomposite was analyzed by UV-Vis spectroscopy and atomic force microscope (AFM) to verify the properties of the nanoparticles.

Anatomical and variation of physical properties in the axial direction of three bamboo species in the eastern Amazon of Peru

open access: yesScientia Agropecuaria, 2023
Bamboos are abundant and versatile, hence their growing interest throughout the world in a variety of uses, however, there is little technical information on the anatomy and physical properties that are important to further expand and diversify its uses.

The variability of pulp-wood basic specific gravity of softwood

open access: yesActa Universitatis Agriculturae et Silviculturae Mendelianae Brunensis, 2004
In the present study, basic density of pulpwood of Norway spruce (Piceas abies /L./ Karst.) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) was investigated. The variability of basic density and factors applied are out of concern.
