On Second Order q-Difference Equations Satisfied by Al-Salam–Carlitz I-Sobolev Type Polynomials of Higher Order

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
This contribution deals with the sequence {Un(a)(x;q,j)}n≥0 of monic polynomials in x, orthogonal with respect to a Sobolev-type inner product related to the Al-Salam–Carlitz I orthogonal polynomials, and involving an arbitrary number j of q-derivatives ...

Rational Interpolation and Basic Hypergeometric Series

open access: yes, 2004
We give a Newton type rational interpolation formula (Theorem \ref{theo}). It contains as a special case the original Newton interpolation, as well as the recent interpolation formula of Zhi-Guo Liu, which allows to recover many important classical $q$-series identities.

A multipoint conformal block chain in d dimensions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Conformal blocks play a central role in CFTs as the basic, theory-independent building blocks. However, only limited results are available concerning multipoint blocks associated with the global conformal group.

IncRNA‐ZFAS1, an Emerging Gate‐Keeper in DNA Damage‐Dependent Transcriptional Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
LncZFAS1 plays a crucial role during DNA damage response in mammalian cells. Loss of lncZFAS1 results in deficient DNA lesion removal and reduced cell viability. Mechanistically, lncZFAS1 modulates RNAPII phosphorylation and transcription and thereby promotes both GG‐NER and TC‐NER upon UV damage.

Generating functions for some families of the generalized Al-Salam–Carlitz q-polynomials

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
In this paper, by making use of the familiar q-difference operators D q $D_{q}$ and D q − 1 $D_{q^{-1}}$ , we first introduce two homogeneous q-difference operators T ( a , b , c D q ) $\mathbb{T}(\mathbf{a},\mathbf{b},cD_{q})$ and E ( a , b , c D q − 1 )

De Novo Reconstruction of 3D Human Facial Images from DNA Sequence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces Difface, a novel deep‐learning model for reconstructing 3D facial images only from DNA data. By integrating transformer networks, spiral convolutions, and a diffusion model, Difface directly aligns high‐dimensional SNP data with 3D facial structures.

A Self‐Assembling LYTAC Mediates CTGF Degradation and Remodels Inflammatory Tumor Microenvironment for Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A CTGF‐LYTAC nanoplatform is developed to selectively degrade connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC), inhibiting TGF‐β signaling and cell interactions in the tumor microenvironment (TME). This strategy effectively suppresses tumor growth and metastasis, outperforming antibody‐based therapy.

Particle seas and basic hypergeometric series

open access: yesAdvances in Applied Mathematics, 2003
AbstractParticle seas were introduced by Claude Itzykson to give a direct combinatorial proof of the Jacobi triple product [Viennot, Empilements, 1999]. We show here how generalized particle seas can be employed to give bijective proofs of several identities in the theory of basic hypergeometric series.
