Acoustic Wave Engineering of Lamb Wave Resonators with 2D van der Waals Floating Electrode

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 12, Issue 18, September 22, 2025.
AlN‐based Lamb wave resonators integrated with 2D hBN/graphene van der Waals heterostructures achieve fr exceeding 7 GHz and enhanced electromechanical coupling. The heterostructure functions as an acoustic mirror, effectively confining acoustic energy and minimizing losses, which significantly improves the Q‐factor.

Timing of Changes in Alzheimer's Disease Plasma Biomarkers as Assessed by Amyloid and Tau PET Clocks

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, Volume 98, Issue 3, Page 508-523, September 2025.
Objective The objective of this study was to evaluate the timing of change of Alzheimer's disease (AD) plasma biomarkers (Aβ42/Aβ40, p‐tau217, p‐tau181, GFAP, and NfL) from six different assay platforms, alongside established AD biomarkers, using amyloid and tau positron emission tomography (PET)‐based AD progression timelines.

A Gas Sensor Based on Fully Tuneable and Electrically Coupled Bulk Acoustic Wave Resonators

open access: yesProceedings
This paper reports on a gas sensor based on two bulk acoustic wave (BAW) resonators electrically coupled with a tuneable capacitor. The weak coupling strength was tuned to its optimal value (achieving maximum sensitivity) by varying the capacitance ...
