Pasteurella lipoprotein E interacts with host ABCF2 to facilitate adhesion and cell apoptosis
Abstract Pasteurella multocida can cause serious diseases in many animal species and humans, yet the mechanisms of its pathogenesis remain to be elucidated. In this study, we found that the lipoprotein E (PlpE) of P. multocida contributed to bacterial adhesion to host cells.

Review of Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome Caused by Pathogenic Variants in GFPT1
ABSTRACT Glutamine:fructose‐6‐phosphate transaminase 1 (GFPT1) catalyzes the first and rate‐limiting step of the hexosamine biosynthetic pathway (HBP) to generate UDP‐GlcNAc. GFPT1 exon 9 is specifically spliced in in striated muscles, which makes a long isoform of GFPT1 (GFPT1‐L).

Mechanism underlying the negative effects of glucocorticoids on the airway epithelial barrier. Glucocorticoids upregulate autophagy factors and downregulate anti‐autophagy factors. Enhanced autophagy promotes excessive apoptosis and epithelial detachment, impairing airway barrier function.

Comprehensive DIA‐MS Proteomics of Root Basal Nodes Elucidates Mechanisms of Salt Tolerance in Rice
ABSTRACT Soil salinity severely affects rice growth, yield, and quality, posing a global food security challenge. Rice is particularly vulnerable to high salinity, which restricts growth and tolerance to other stresses. To address this, breeding efforts have been made in the past, leading to the generation of multi‐stress‐tolerant rice lines.
