Integrating Patient‐Reported Quality Measures in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: Development of the American College of Rheumatology Implementation Guide

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective To support high‐quality, patient‐centered care for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) developed evidence‐based measures incorporating clinical and patient‐reported outcome measures (PROMs). Using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), we conducted semistructured interviews ...

IL-7 sustains CD31 expression in human naive CD4+ T cells and preferentially expands the CD31+ subset in a PI3K-dependent manner

open access: yes, 2008
© 2009 by The American Society of HematologyThe CD31(+) subset of human naive CD4(+) T cells is thought to contain the population of cells that have recently emigrated from the thymus, while their CD31(-) counterparts have been proposed to originate from

Beta-casomorphin (BCM) and human colonic lamina propria lymphocyte proliferation

open access: yes, 1991
SUMMARY BCM is a milk-derived peptide with opiate-like properties which is absorbed through the gastrointestinal mucosa. It has been shown to affect gastrointestinal motility, absorption and secretion.

Incorporation of Novel Synthetic Glycolipids in Liposomal Nanoparticles Affects Opsonization and In Vivo Clearance

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
We prepared five glycosylated liposomal nanoparticles (G‐LNPs) to investigate the role of glycosylation and protein corona in modulating the in vivo behavior of G‐LNPs. We show that IgG and complement C3 adsorption enhanced liposomal nanoparticle clearance, with IgG promoting subsequent C3 binding.

Leites A1 e A2: revisão sobre seus potenciais efeitos no trato digestório

open access: yesRevista Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional, 2019
O leite de vaca é o mais consumido no Brasil e na maioria dos outros países. Neste produto a β-caseína representa aproximadamente 30% do total de proteínas, podendo esta estar presente como duas diferentes variantes de acordo com a genética do animal: β ...

A Systematic Study of GelMA‐Carbopol Bioinks for High‐Fidelity Extrusion 3D Bioprinting at Physiological Temperatures

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Gonzalez Martinez and collaborators develop a strategy to formulate high performance GelMA‐based bioinks with low solids contents. The resulting bioinks enable 3D bioprinting at 37 °C of high‐fidelity structures with tunable mechanical properties that support high cell viability and function.

Oxygen concentrations in sediments across BCM patches.

open access: yes, 2015
(A) O2 concentration across BCM patches over an entire diel cycle. During photosynthesis, O2 peak concentrations per profile are plotted; otherwise surface concentrations are given (n = 350 profiles).

3D‐Printable Nanoporous Thermosets via Disulfide‐Based Polymerization‐Induced Microphase Separation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
α‐Lipoic acid‐derived degradable macro‐chain transfer agents (macroCTAs) with tunable hydrophilicity drive polymerization‐induced microphase separation (PIMS) in photocurable resins. Selective etching via disulfide cleavage then generates interconnected nanoporous thermosets, and compatibility with liquid‐crystal display (LCD) 3D printing enables the ...
