Hybrid Nanofibers for Multimodal Accelerated Wound Healing
Fabrication of wound healing scaffolds based on biocompatible nanofibers. Nanofibers offering high surface area, flexibility, and biocompatibility significantly improved the healing outcome in vivo. Histological, immunological, and anti‐inflammatory markers are noticeably better in treated wounds.

A Comparison of Tandem Walk Performance Between Bed Rest Subjects and Astronauts [PDF]
Astronauts experience a microgravity environment during spaceflight, which results in a central reinterpretation of both vestibular and body axial-loading information by the sensorimotor system.

Hybrid Scaffolds Decouple Biochemical & Biophysical Regulation of Cell Phenotype
Replicating tissue‐specific extracellular matrix is crucial for understanding its role in disease. This work demonstrates independent control over stiffness, composition and 3D collagen architecture using hybrid scaffolds: patterned collagen perfused with defined hydrogels.

Focal Gray Matter Plasticity as a Function of Long Duration Head Down Tilted Bed Rest: Preliminary Results [PDF]
Long duration spaceflight (i.e., 22 days or longer) has been associated with changes in sensorimotor systems, resulting in difficulties that astronauts experience with posture control, locomotion, and manual control.

Due to its multifunctionality, replicating the fibrillar and supramolecular architecture of Collagen I is gaining increasing priority in regenerative medicine. Using rotational Melt Electrofibrillation, we present a powerful method to accurately mimic the ultrastructure of Collagen with polycaprolactone, enabling the one‐step fabrication of three ...

Association Between Cardiovascular and Intraocular Pressure Changes in a 14-Day 6 deg Head Down Tilt (HDT) Bed Rest Study: Possible Implications in Retinal Anatomy [PDF]
Visual symptoms and intracranial pressure increase reported in astronauts returning from long duration missions in low Earth-orbit are thought to be related to fluid shifts within the body due to microgravity exposure.
