Bond and flexural strength of industrial cast UHPFRC-NC deck in Norway
A large portion of Norway’s aging bridge infrastructure requires rehabilitation due to environmental exposure. Ultra-High-Performance Fibre-Reinforced concrete (UHPFRC) overlays have emerged as a promising solution; however, their large-scale application

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

Investigation of cold-formed steel top-hat sections under bending
In recent years, with the introduction of higher strength grades, cold-formed steel sections have become increasingly more slender. As a result, top-hat purlin sections have become an alternative to conventional zed purlins, particularly when smaller ...

Curvature determination in the bending test of continuous fibre reinforcements
Bending deformation is one of the main deformation modes in the forming of continuous fibre reinforcements. It is very specific compared to the classical continuous materials.

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

A two‐dimensional multiscale finite element analysis framework was established for the first‐generation MoSiBTiC alloy, and the mechanical and fracture‐related parameters of the constituent phases were calibrated through experiments and simulations. The framework provides a basis for analyzing crack propagation behavior in its complex microstructure ...
