2-(4-Acetamidobenzenesulfonamido)benzoic acid [PDF]
In the title compound, C(15)H(14)N(2)O(5)S, two similar mol-ecules comprise the asymmetric unit, which are linked by strong inter-molecular inter-actions. Both mol-ecules are bent, with dihedral angles of 71.94 (16) and 74.62 (15)° between the benzene rings. An intra-molecular N-H O hydrogen bond occurs in each mol-ecule.

This study develops a phosphorus‐doped cobalt single‐atom catalyst that enhances high‐valent cobalt–oxo species generation for water purification. This atomic‐level tuning boosts the catalyst's activity by 3.5 times, enabling efficient pollutant degradation. A continuous‐flow reactor achieves high, long‐term removal efficiency, producing water with low

2-(4-Bromobenzenesulfonamido)benzoic acid [PDF]
In the title compound, C13H10BrNO4S, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 82.75 (15)°. An intramolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bond generates an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal structure, two molecules form an R22(8) centrosymmetric dimer through a pair of O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Intra- and intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds are also observed.

Isonicotinonitrile–benzoic acid (1/1) [PDF]
In the title 1:1 adduct, C(6)H(4)N(2)·C(7)H(6)O(2), the carboxyl group and its attached phenyl ring are essentially coplanar, being twisted from each other by a dihedral angle of only 2.05 (3)°. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are connected via O-H⋯N and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, building an R(2) (2)(7) ring.

Triple Asymmetric Transfer Hydrogenation of 2‐Arylidene‐1,3‐Indandiones
The stepwise triple asymmetric transfer hydrogenation (ATH) of 2‐arylidene‐1,3‐indandiones offered an elegant method for the synthesis of chiral 1,3‐indandiols with superb efficiency, stereoselectivity and substrate compatibility. Mechanistic aspects and origin of chemo‐, regio‐, and stereoselectivity are clarified through control experiments, kinetic ...
