Preparation of m- and p- hydroxy benzoic acids (C14 carboxyl) by radiolysis of an aqueous solution of benzoic acid (C14 carboxyl). [PDF]
(C14 carboxyl) m- hydroxy-benzoic acid is not available commercially. It as synthesized in low yield by radiolysis of an oxygenated aqueous solution of (C14 carboxyl) benzoic acid, and was separated from unchanged benzoic acid on a cellulose column, and

Structural landscape of benzoic acid: using experimental crystal structures of fluorobenzoic acids as a probe [PDF]
Experimental crystal structures of mono and polyfluorinated benzoic acids correspond to high energy computed crystal structures of benzoic acid itself, thereby permitting access to its structural ...

4-(Cyclopropanecarboxamido)benzoic acid [PDF]
In the title compound, C(11)H(11)NO(3), the dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the cyclo-propane ring is 63.2 (1)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked through classical cyclic carb-oxy-lic acid O-H⋯O hydrogen-bond inter-actions [graph set R(2) (2)(8)] giving centrosymmetric dimers which are extended along the b-axis direction through amide ...

A circular upcycling strategy transforms waste poly(ethylene terephthalate) bottles into microwave‐responsive Ni@C catalyst featuring lattice‐distorted nickel cores and defective carbon shells. These strain‐rich heterointerfaces enhance dielectric loss and promote localized microwave hotspots, accelerating peroxymonosulfate activation and polymer‐chain

2-(Trifluoromethyl)benzoic acid [PDF]
In the title compound, C(8)H(5)F(3)O(2), a halogenated derivative of benzoic acid, the carboxyl group is tilted by 16.8 (3)° with respect to the plane of the aromatic ring. In the crystal, O-H⋯O hydrogen bonding gives rise to carb-oxy-lic acid dimers, which are further connected into double chains along [1,1/4,1] by C-H⋯O contacts.
