Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Existence of fixed point and best proximity point of p-cyclic orbital phi-contraction map
In this manuscript, p-cyclic orbital ϕ-contraction map over closed, nonempty, convex subsets of a uniformly convex Banach space X possesses a unique best proximity point if the auxiliary function ϕ is strictly increasing.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Best proximity points in ℱ-metric spaces with applications
The aim of this article is to introduce α\alpha -ψ\psi -proximal contraction in the setting of ℱ-metric space and prove the existence of best proximity points for these contractions.

On the Proximity Factors of Lattice Reduction-Aided Decoding [PDF]
Lattice reduction-aided decoding features reduced decoding complexity and near-optimum performance in multi-input multi-output communications. In this paper, a quantitative analysis of lattice reduction-aided decoding is presented.

Next‐generation proteomics improves lung cancer risk prediction
This is one of very few studies that used prediagnostic blood samples from participants of two large population‐based cohorts. We identified, evaluated, and validated an innovative protein marker model that outperformed an established risk prediction model and criteria employed by low‐dose computed tomography in lung cancer screening trials.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Existence of coupled coincidence best proximity point [PDF]
This work of optimality is engaged with couple coincidence best proximity point. We have developed some optimal results where control functions and non-linear weak inequalities are evident. Further using our results, we establish some fixed point results.
