Purification and properties of β-mannosidase from malted barley
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Enzymology, 1974β-Mannosidase (β-mannoside mannohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.25) was extracted and purified about 100-fold from malted barley. The purified preparation was free of α-mannosidase, β-N-acetylhexosaminidase, α-galactosidase and β-glucosidase. The purified enzyme was active between pH 3 and 6 and exhibited a Km value of 3.2·10−4 M using the p-nitrophenyl-β-d ...

[Cloning and characterization of two beta-mannosidase cDNAs in Gossypium hirsutum L].
Zhi wu sheng li yu fen zi sheng wu xue xue bao = Journal of plant physiology and molecular biology, 2005By using the method of PCR-based cDNA library screening, two beta-mannosidase clones, GhManA1 and GhManA2, had been isolated. GhManA1 had a length of 2692 bp coding for a polypeptide of 834 amino acids, and GhManA2 was 3209 bp which encoded a polypeptide of 976 amino acids.
