String beta function equations from the c = 1 matrix model [PDF]
We derive the $ $-model tachyon $ $-function equation of 2-dimensional string theory, in the background of flat space and linear dilaton, working entirely within the $c=1$ matrix model. The tachyon $ $-function equation is satisfied by a \underbar{nonlocal} and \underbar{nonlinear} combination of the (massless) scalar field of the matrix model.

β-deformed matrix model and Nekrasov partition function [PDF]
We study Penner type matrix models in relation with the Nekrasov partition function of four dimensional \mathcal{N}=2, SU(2) supersymmetric gauge theories with N_F=2,3 and 4. By evaluating the resolvent using the loop equation for general , we explicitly construct the first half-genus correction to the free energy and demonstrate the result coincides

Expressing the largest eigenvalue of a singular beta F-matrix with heterogeneous hypergeometric functions [PDF]
In this paper, the exact distribution of the largest eigenvalue of a singular random matrix for multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) is discussed. The key to developing the distribution theory of eigenvalues of a singular random matrix is to use heterogeneous hypergeometric functions with two matrix arguments.

The fundamental nature of the neutrino is presently a subject of great interest. A way to access the absolute mass scale and the fundamental nature of the neutrino is to utilize the atomic nuclei through their rare decays, the neutrinoless double beta ...

We construct the ( $$\beta $$ β -deformed) partition function hierarchies with W-representations. Based on the W-representations, we analyze the superintegrability property and derive their character expansions with respect to the Schur functions and ...

Linear Orbit Parameters for the Exact Equations of Motion [PDF]
This paper defines the beta function and other linear orbit parameters using the exact equations of motion. The orbit functions are redefined using the exact equations. Expressions are found for the transfer matrix and the emittances.

Some Relations on the rRs(P,Q,z) Matrix Function
In this paper, we derive some classical and fractional properties of the rRs matrix function by using the Hilfer fractional operator. The theory of special matrix functions is the theory of those matrices that correspond to special matrix functions such ...
