Vapor pressure measurements of Mg(BH4)2 using Knudsen torsion effusion thermo graphic method

open access: yes, 2014
The vapor pressure and molecular weight of effusing vapors of α, β, and amorphous Mg were determined by Torsion-effusion gravimetric method, under dynamic vacuum. A Cahn balance in the system yielded the rate of the weight loss.

Statin Increases GTP Cyclohydrolase I mRNA and 5,6,7,8-Tetrahydrobiopterin in Vascular Endothelial Cells

open access: yesPteridines, 2006
We investigated the effects of HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, so-called statins, on 5,6,7,8-tctrahydrobioptcrin (BH4) metabolism in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC).

Metabolic Profiling of Circulating and Tumour‐Infiltrating T Cells Uncovers Bioenergetic Checkpoints Linked With Immune and Clinical Skewing in Melanoma Patients

open access: yesImmunology, Volume 179, Issue 3, Page 486-515, November 2026.
In this study, we revealed the disturbed metabolic status of circulating and tumour‐infiltrating CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in melanoma patients through targeted metabolomic and lipidomic (on sorted subsets) and at single cell level using the SCENITH method.

Phylogeny and Morphology of Novel Labyrinthulomycetes in Nova Scotia, Canada

open access: yesJournal of Eukaryotic Microbiology, Volume 73, Issue 6, November/December 2026.
ABSTRACT Labyrinthulomycetes are ubiquitous marine decomposers and include the thraustochytrids, a lineage known for their extensive production of polyunsaturated fatty acids and biotechnology applications. Despite historical taxonomic confusion, environmental surveys have begun to expand the known diversity within labyrinthulomycetes.

Synthesis, Updated Characterization, and Reactivity of Low‐Valent Titanocene Complexes

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 30, 27 October 2026.
Syntheses and characterizations are provided for a series of low‐valent titanocene complexes including halotitanocene(III) dimers, [Cp2Ti(κ2‐DME)][BAr4] cations, and heterobimetallic [Cp2Ti(μ‐Cl)2AlR2]. Additionally, a monomeric titanacyclopropene complex featuring a pendent phosphine was prepared, and C─F bond activation upon reduction of [Cp{η5:κ2F2 ...

Cancer‐Associated BCL‐2 Mutants Reveal Mechanisms Towards Venetoclax Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 57, 14 October 2026.
Venetoclax (VEN) resistance in chronic lymphocytic leukemia arises from diverse BCL2 mutations. We map mechanisms contributing to VEN resistance across common BCL‐2 variants. G101V and D103Y reduce drug binding and increase sequestration of pro‐apoptotic proteins. V156D blocks VEN allosterically.

Theoretical study of metal-tetrahydroborato ligand interactions in [Y(THF)4(BH4)2]+

open access: yes, 1996
Ab initia calculations for the [Y(H2O)4(BH4)2]+ complex, a model of [Y(THF)4(BH4)2]+, have been carried out to study the metal-BH4- ligand interactions.

Unsuccessful Coupling of Weakly Coordinating Anion–Based Mg Salts and Alkoxyalkylamine Solvents for Rechargeable Mg Battery Application: Trace Water‐Driven Interfacial Failure

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 59, 23 October 2026.
Combining recently established two ground‐breaking concepts, the adoption of WCAs and the use of alkoxyalkylamine‐based solvents in electrolyte formulations for rechargeable magnesium metal batteries, has led to unexpectedly unsuccessful electrochemical Mg plating/stripping performance. Comprehensive experimental and computational analyses revealed the

Tetrahydrobiopterin metabolism attenuates ROS generation and radiosensitivity through LDHA S-nitrosylation: novel insight into radiogenic lung injury

open access: yesExperimental and Molecular Medicine
Genotoxic therapy triggers reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and oxidative tissue injury. S-nitrosylation is a selective and reversible posttranslational modification of protein thiols by nitric oxide (NO), and 5,6,7,8-tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) is

Aortic valve disease: Novel animal models for advancing our understanding of the underlying mechanisms

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, Volume 9, Issue 10, Page 1964-1981, October 2026.
Due to the complex pathophysiology of aortic valve disease (AVD) and the resulting lack of effective pharmacotherapy, existing animal models are valuable research tools, but each has its own strengths and limitations. This review systematically surveys the major AVD models, compares their induction methods, pathological features, advantages and ...
