The dehydrogenation kinetics and reversibility improvements of Mg(BH4)2 doped with Ti nano-particles under mild conditions

, 2021
Magnesium borohydride, Mg(BH4)2, is ball-milled with Ti nano-particles. Such catalyzed Mg(BH4)2 releases more hydrogen than pristine Mg(BH4)2 does during isothermal dehydrogenation at 270, 280, and 290 °C.

Discrepant roles of a quorum quenching bacterium (Rhodococcus sp. BH4) in growing dual-species biofilms.

Science of the Total Environment, 2020
Quorum quenching (QQ) is a promising alternative method for biofilm control. However, a largely unexplored issue is the mechanism through which QQ bacteria interact with biofilm-forming bacteria. Here, we explore inter-species interactions during biofilm

In-situ synthesis of amorphous Mg(BH4)2 and chloride composite modified by NbF5 for superior reversible hydrogen storage properties

, 2020
The solvent-free amorphous Mg(BH4)2 composite was in-situ synthesized by ball milling LiBH4 and MgCl2. It is found that the onset dehydrogenation temperature of the as-synthesized composite is 126.9 °C, which is roughly 156 °C lower than that of pristine

Carbon metabolism characteristics of quorum quenching bacteria Rhodococcus sp. BH4 determine the bioaugmentation efficiency under different carbon source conditions.

Water Research
Carbon sources are critical factors influencing bacterial bioaugmentation, however, the underlying mechanisms, particularly the metabolic characteristics of bioaugmented bacteria remain poorly understood. The bioaugmented bacterium Rhodococcus sp.

Improvement of desorption performance of Mg(BH4)2 by two-dimensional Ti3C2 MXene addition

, 2020
Magnesium borohydride (Mg(BH4)2) is an attractive materials for solid-state hydrogen storage due to its high hydrogen content (14.9 wt%). In the present work, the dehydrogenation performance of Mg(BH4)2 by adding different amounts (10, 20, 40, 60 wt%) of

Fluxionality in (BH4)Mn(CO)4 and (BH4)Cu(PH3)2

Polyhedron, 1995
Abstract Molecular orbital calculations at the ab initio level have been carried out for (BH4)Mn(CO)4 and (BH4)Cu(PH3)2. The geometries were optimized at the η2 ground states, as well as η1 and two η3 structures. Single point calculations at higher levels of theory show that the η1 structures for both molecules lie at decisively higher relative ...

Tetrahydrobiopterin-(BH4-)Mangelkrankheiten

2014

Enhanced low temperature hydrogen desorption properties and mechanism of Mg(BH4)2 composited with 2D MXene

International journal of hydrogen energy, 2019
Mg(BH4)2 occupies a large hydrogen storage capacity of 14.7 wt%, and has been widely recognized to be one of the potential candidates for hydrogen storage. In this work, 2D MXene Ti3C2 was introduced into Mg(BH4)2 by a facile ball-milling method in order
