Lactobacillus‐Loaded Bioadhesive Hydrogel with Prolonged Retention and Microenvironmental Remodeling for Endometrial Repair and Fertility Restoration

A bioactive adhesive hydrogel capable of long‐term uterine retention (>14 days) and local microenvironment modulation is developed by straightforward integration of α‐lipoic acid, L‐arginine, tannic acid, and Lactobacillus johnsonii, which can markedly enhance endometrial repair and restore fertility in a rat model of endometrial injury.

Bilirubin Conjugation and Biliary Bilirubin Excretion after Intravenous Bilirubin Injection in Dogs.

This study was undertaken to investigate the bilirubin clearance, bilirubin conjugation and biliary bilirubin excretion after an intravenous single bilirubin injection (5 mg/kg or 10 mg/kg) in 10 mongrel dogs. Serum total bilirubin concentration increased after the bilirubin injection, and then it immediately decreased.

Structural Basis of Shiga Toxin Neutralization by Human Antibodies Targeting Canonical Receptor‐Binding and Non‐Canonical Assembly Sites

Cryo‐electron microscopy structures reveal two distinct neutralization mechanisms of fully human monoclonal antibodies targeting the Shiga toxin 1a B subunit. RDS059 occludes the Gb3 receptor‐binding site, whereas RDS045 engages a lateral quaternary epitope to disrupt holotoxin assembly.

Collagen‐Binding IL‐15 Immunocytokine Armed Oncolytic Adenovirus Establishes a Self‐Reinforcing Immunostimulatory Milieu to Potentiate Antitumor Immunity

Repurposing the dense tumor stroma from a physical barrier into an anchoring scaffold, an engineered oncolytic adenovirus encoding IL15C‐CBD overcomes the immunosuppressive microenvironment in triple‐negative breast cancer. Intratumoral viral replication secretes this collagen‐anchored immunocytokine, forming a localized cytokine depot.

Gilbert′s syndrome, caused by relative deficiency of glucuronyl transferase is the commonest cause of congenital hyperbilirubinemia. We report anesthetic management in a case of Gilbert′s syndrome for laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anesthesia.
