Hox Gene Variation Drives Morphological Specialization of Humpback Grouper Cromileptes altivelis
Cromileptes altivelis exhibits a distinctive “sunken head and humpback” morphology, formed through cranial remodeling. Genetic analyses identified unique amino acid variants in Hoxa7a and Hoxa10b, with functional tests confirming their role in enhancing osteoblast activity and driving cranial remodeling.

ABSTRACT Background Cell therapy, particularly those utilizing mesenchymal stem/stromal cells (MSCs), is gaining traction as a therapeutic option for regenerative treatment in patients with limited therapeutic options. Although the safety of MSC‐based interventions is well established, uncertainties remain regarding how genetic abnormalities and ...

Background and Purpose Colorectal cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers worldwide, and novel precision medicine approaches are rapidly improving patient outcomes. Phosphodiesterase 4B (PDE4B) is a member of an enzyme family (PDE4) that hydrolyses intracellular cAMP to control spatial and temporal signalling cues.

Targeting KRAS for cancer therapy
In recent years, therapeutics targeted against KRAS proto‐oncogene GTPase (KRAS)‐mutant cancers have seen significant progress. Herein we outline the biology and epidemiology of KRAS alterations at the lineage and allele levels, reviewing the clinical evidence for KRASG12C inhibition from the discovery of the recessive switch pocket to sotorasib ...

Schematic illustration of the mechanisms by which the natural quassinoid brusatol induces apoptosis in myeloid leukemias and enhances venetoclax efficacy via p53‐dependent apoptosis and mitochondrial dysfunction. ABSTRACT While venetoclax‐based combinations have shown promising results in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), the remission duration is ...

The lncRNA CROCCP2 upregulates HOXD11 by competitively adsorbing miR‐5584‐5p, thereby promoting glioma cell proliferation, migration, and invasion by inhibiting autophagy. It significantly enhances tumor growth in vivo, suggesting it may be a potential therapeutic target for gliomas.

KPNA2 Drives Immunosuppression in Ovarian Cancer via CCL2/CCR2‐Dependent MDSC Recruitment
KPNA2 drives intratumoral MDSC accumulation and immunosuppression in ovarian cancer via the NF‐κB/CCL2/CCR2 axis. Mechanistically, KPNA2 facilitates NF‐κB/p65 nuclear translocation and induces CCL2 transcription, recruiting MDSCs to establish an immunosuppressive microenvironment.
