Phase transitions and Geometrothermodynamics of Regular black holes [PDF]
In this paper we study the thermodynamics and state space geometry of regular black hole solutions such as Bardeen black hole, Ay\'{o}n-Beato and Garc\'{i}a black hole, Hayward black hole and Berej-Matyjasek-Trynieki-Wornowicz black hole. We find that all these black holes show second order thermodynamic phase transitions(SOTPT) by observing ...

Hairy black holes of Lovelock–Born–Infeld-scalar gravity
In this paper we construct new hairy black holes of Lovelock–Born–Infeld-scalar gravity in diverse dimensions. We study horizon structures of the black holes and find the black holes may possess three horizons, two horizons or one horizon.

State-space Geometry, Statistical Fluctuations and Black Holes in String Theory
We study the state-space geometry of various extremal and nonextremal black holes in string theory. From the notion of the intrinsic geometry, we offer a new perspective of black hole vacuum fluctuations.

Ferroelectric ZrO2 films grown by sputtering on Si, show strong near‐infrared (NIR) detection capability. The performance is shown to arise from the pyroelectric effect, combined with the ferroelectric effect in ZrO2, and the photovoltaic effect in Si.

Entropy of black holes with multiple horizons
We examine the entropy of black holes in de Sitter space and black holes surrounded by quintessence. These black holes have multiple horizons, including at least the black hole event horizon and a horizon outside it (cosmological horizon for de Sitter ...

Are “Superentropic” black holes superentropic?
We study a critical limit in which asymptotically-AdS black holes develop maximal conical deficits and their horizons become non-compact. When applied to stationary rotating black holes this limit coincides with the “ultraspinning limit” and yields the ...
