Molecular Details of RNA Interactions With FUS Condensates Altering Assembly, Dynamics, and Aggregation

Using NMR and molecular simulations, we map how RNA engages FUS LC‐RGG1 within condensates through electrostatic, π‐stacking, and polar contacts. These multivalent RNA contacts help stabilize RNA within FUS condensates while also reshaping condensate composition and dynamics.

Synthetic Shewanella‐Bacillus Microbial Consortia for Enhanced Metal Oxide Leaching From Spent Lithium‐Ion Batteries Using Brewing Wastewater as Leaching Agent

A recycling approach of spent lithium‐ion batteries is developed using brewing wastewater as the leaching agent and an engineering microbial consortium as the biocatalyst. Shewanella oneidensis reduces spent LiNixCoyMn1‐x‐yO2 cathodes via extracellular electron transfer, while Bacillus subtilis removes residual ethanol to eliminate inhibition.

Design of a Novel Diamine Biosensor to Guide the Engineering of Escherichia coli for Cadaverine Overproduction

A high‐throughput screening platform was established by integrating an in vivo cadaverine biosensor with a fluorescence‐activated cell sorting (FACS) system. Biosensor‐driven specific exporter tuning, pathway optimization and genome‐wide target mining were conducted to maximize cadaverine production in Escherichia coli.
