Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Comparison of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Energy Absorbers Under Uniaxial Compressive Loading
This study investigates LCD 3D printed Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures as mechanical energy absorbers. By comparing various base designs and layered combinations under uniaxial compression, it identifies that a Diamond‐Gyroid sandwich structure offers superior performance.

Euglycemia following IED‐like blast exposure
Episodes of hyperglycemia are considered to be a secondary insult in traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients and have been shown to be associated with impaired outcome. Intensive insulin therapy and strict monitoring of blood glucose (BG) during neurointensive care is considered crucial to maintain the brain's ...

Changes in ROS activity with blast conditions and with time following blast exposure:
Animals exposed to different blast pressures and with time following blast exposure at mild condition were analyzed for ROS levels. The conversion of colorless CellROX™ dye to deep red fluorescence in the presence of ROS was captured using the Maestro ...

This work studies the anisotropic behavior of circular notched tensile specimens of Ni‐base superalloy single crystals during high‐temperature tensile creep along [001], [110], and [111]. Correlative scale‐bridging imaging of specimens reveals early rupture along [110] because 1) plastic deformation proceeds faster at notch center; 2) more (brittle ...

Human periosteum‐derived cell spheroids bioprinted at high density within a hyaluronic acid matrix promote fusion and hypertrophic cartilage formation in vitro. Early encapsulation enhances spheroid interaction and matrix maturation, generating scalable cartilage templates intended for endochondral bone regeneration.

Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy in Bionanotechnology: Current Advances and Future Perspectives
Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM) enables the nanoscale mapping of electrostatic surface potentials. While widely applied in materials science, its use in biological systems remains emerging. This review presents recent advances in KPFM applied to biological samples and provides a critical perspective on current limitations and future directions for

Vestibular Consequences of mTBI and Blast Exposure
Symptoms of dizziness and imbalance are common sequelae following concussion and blast exposures that result in mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), and these symptoms often last six months or longer.

Blast exposure is associated with traumatic brain injury (TBI), neuropsychiatric symptoms, and long-term cognitive disability. We examined a case series of postmortem brains from U.S. military veterans exposed to blast and/or concussive injury.
