S‐ketamine Alleviates Neuroinflammation and Attenuates Lipopolysaccharide‐Induced Depression Via Targeting SIRT2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
S‐ketamine binds directly to SIRT2, facilitating its interaction with NF‐κB p65. This interaction reduces the acetylation of NF‐κB p65 and inhibits its activation, thereby exerting anti‐inflammatory and antidepressant effects. Created by BioRender.

Lung‐Specific mRNA Delivery by Ionizable Lipids with Defined Structure‐Function Relationship and Unique Protein Corona Feature

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel structure‐function relationship is identified for lung‐targeting ionizable lipids with nonpermanent charges. These lipids feature N‐methyl and secondary amine groups in their heads and three tails derived from epoxyalkanes, demonstrating superior pulmonary selectivity and efficiency.

Construction of a Biomimetic Tubular Scaffold Inspired by Sea Sponge Structure: Sponge‐Like Framework and Cell Guidance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by the structure of sea sponges, a unique method involving microfluidic coaxial spinning and in situ polymerization is designed. Biomimetic tubular scaffolds ae fabricated. Composed of specific materials such as oxidized bacterial cellulose, bacterial cellulose and polydopamine, these scaffolds have excellent mechanical stability and ...

Extracellular Matrix Targeted MRI Probes

open access: yesAnalysis &Sensing, Volume 3, Issue 1, January 2023., 2023
Gadolinium based MRI probes targeted to ECM components, either proteins or enzymes, hold promise for accurate molecular characterization and staging of fibrotic diseases in vivo. Non‐covalent binding probes (1), reactive probes (2), and enzyme‐responsive probes (3) are discussed.

“Antenna Effect”‐Enhanced AuNPs@rGO Photothermal Coating Promotes 3D Printing of Osteogenic Active Scaffolds to Repair Bone Defects after Malignant Tumor Surgery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The T‐rGO@Au scaffold incorporates an rGO@AuNP composite photothermal coating inspired by the “antenna effect.” Under near‐infrared light irradiation, the scaffold induces the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and localized thermal stimulation, leading to the effective elimination of tumor cells.

Morphology Effect of Puffball Spores on Hemostasis: A Promising Solution for Hemostatic Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents an innovative approach to address current challenges in hemostasis by drawing inspiration from the natural hemostatic material, Puffball spores (Bovistella sp.). Their unique hollow ball‐rod morphology and texture composition enable blood concentration and promote the release of procoagulant factors, while the nano‐protrusions on the

Flavonifractor Plautii or Its Metabolite Desaminotyrosine as Prophylactic Agents for Alleviating Myocardial Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome is a potential target for treating cardiovascular disease. It is found that prophylactic administration of Flavonifractor plautii or its metabolite desaminotyrosine (DAT) exerts pleiotropic cardioprotective effects via promoting cardiomyocyte survival and attenuating cardiac inflammation against myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R ...
