Research on the Vibration Insulation of High-Speed Train Bogies in Mid and High Frequency

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2018
According to a large amount of the test data, the mid and high frequency vibrations of high-speed bogies are very notable, especially in the 565~616 Hz range, which are just the passing frequencies corresponding to the 22nd to 24th polygonal wear of the ...

Integrated Traction and Guidance Control of Independently Rotating Wheelsets in Urban Rail Vehicles Using Flux‐Map‐Based Torque Reference Generation

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Independently rotating wheelsets require accurate realization of traction and differential wheel torques under electrical constraints. This paper proposes a hierarchical control framework combining speed PI and LQ‐servo lateral guidance with scaling‐based torque allocation and a flux‐map current reference generator that accounts for DC‐link voltage ...

Strength Evaluation of a Bogie Frame by Different Methods

open access: yesMechanical Engineering Science, 2019
Some crucial loads that current strength design specifications have not taken into account are also considered when assessing the strength of a bogie frame. Calculation methods of these loads come from load analysis. Finite element simulation and fatigue test rig have been used to assess static strength and fatigue strength of a bogie frame.
