Strength Evaluation of a Bogie Frame by Different Methods
Some crucial loads that current strength design specifications have not taken into account are also considered when assessing the strength of a bogie frame. Calculation methods of these loads come from load analysis. Finite element simulation and fatigue test rig have been used to assess static strength and fatigue strength of a bogie frame.

Independently rotating wheelsets require accurate realization of traction and differential wheel torques under electrical constraints. This paper proposes a hierarchical control framework combining speed PI and LQ‐servo lateral guidance with scaling‐based torque allocation and a flux‐map current reference generator that accounts for DC‐link voltage ...

Sliding‐Mode Control of Electromagnetic Suspension Systems Considering Disturbance Compensation
This study proposes an integrated control strategy for magnetic levitation systems, combining a cascaded linear extended state observer with an improved sliding‐mode control. This method accurately estimates and compensates for disturbances, significantly enhancing suspension stability and rejection capability.

A 3D Visual Detection Model for Bogie Pose of Maintenance Robot Based on Deep Learning
The bogie of freight railcars is a critical component affecting train safety and maintenance automation. Traditional pose localization and bolster tilt detection methods rely heavily on manual measurements and laser ranging, which suffer from high environmental sensitivity, limited accuracy, and poor real‐time performance. To address these limitations,

To address the challenges of detecting the variable pose of bolster springs within the confined space of a bogie frame and identifying potential entrapment interactions between the springs and surrounding obstacles, this study proposes a method for identifying the trapped state of bolster springs based on heterogeneous information fusion. This approach
