Solid solution for catalytic ammonia synthesis from nitrogen and hydrogen gases at 50 °C
Ammonia synthesis via the Haber–Bosch process typically takes place at an elevated temperature in order to achieve a reasonable rate. Here the authors report on a CaFH solid solution with low activation energy for catalytic ammonia synthesis at lower ...

Cu‐MXene interfacial catalysts provide a promising platform for electrochemical NOx upcycling to ammonia. The synergy between Cu active sites and conductive, surface‐tunable MXene supports promotes NOx adsorption, intermediate stabilization, and selective NH3 formation while suppressing competing hydrogen evolution, offering a route toward sustainable ...

Abstract Hepatocellular adenomas (HCAs) are benign liver tumors associated with bleeding or malignant transformation. Data on the indication for surgery are scarce. We analyzed indications and outcome of patients operated for HCAs < 50 mm compared to HCAs ≥ 50 mm. Changes in final postoperative diagnosis were assessed.

Role of solvent-anion charge transfer in oxidative degradation of battery electrolytes
Based on computations, the authors show that voltage stability of battery electrolytes is determined not by a single component but by formation of charge transfer complexes between salt anions and solvent molecules.

Advances in Deep Silicon Etch Processing Using Bosch Process
Deep Reactive Ion Etching1-3) is well established as a commercial technique for forming Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) devices. Over the last decade, development work has led to increases in silicon etch rate of an order of magnitude while requirements for etch depth uniformity and profile control have become more stringent as the wafer size ...

Food Prices and Inflation Expectations in New Zealand
ABSTRACT Food prices are conspicuous, and spending on food constitutes a considerable share of household expenditure. In this study, we use partially identified Bayesian structural vector autoregression models to analyze the effects of food price shocks on core inflation and 1‐ and 5‐year inflation expectations in New Zealand.
