Global Mittag-Leffler Synchronization of Fractional-Order Fuzzy Inertia Neural Networks with Reaction–Diffusion Terms Under Boundary Control

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
This study is devoted to solving the global Mittag-Leffler synchronization problem of fractional-order fuzzy reaction–diffusion inertial neural networks by using boundary control.

An adaptive control scheme for hyperbolic partial differential equation system (drilling system) with unknown coefficient

open access: yesArchives of Control Sciences, 2017
The adaptive boundary stabilization is investigated for a class of systems described by second-order hyperbolic PDEs with unknown coefficient. The proposed control scheme only utilizes measurement on top boundary and assume anti-damping dynamics on the ...

Exact Controllability of the Heat Equation with Boundary Control and Boundary Noise

open access: yesMathematics
We study an exact controllability problem for a system governed by the heat equation with Neumann boundary control and boundary noise. We reduce the control problem to a moment problem for which we establish sufficient conditions for its resolution.

On Reflecting Boundary Problem for Optimal Control [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 2003
This paper deals with Mayer's problem for controlled systems with reflection on the boundary of a closed subset K. The main result is the characterization of the possibly discontinuous value function in terms of a unique solution in a suitable sense to a partial differential equation of Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman type.

Identification of a Shiga toxin A‐derived peptide internalized into Gb3 receptor‐bearing cells via interaction with the Shiga toxin B subunit

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The process of internalization of the Shiga toxin A subunit via formation of a complex with the Shiga toxin B subunit, which specifically binds to the Gb3 receptor. The peptide is designed to act as a carrier of drugs into cancer cells. Here, we explored the potential of peptides derived from the catalytic A subunit of Shiga toxin (STxA) to be drug ...

Plasma-Induced Vortex Generation For Boundary Layer Control In Short Takeoff Aircraft [PDF]

open access: yes
The study investigates the use of dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma actuators for boundary layer control on the NACA 23012 airfoil to enhance the aerodynamic performance of short take-off and landing (STOL) aircraft.

Optimal Control of an Allen-Cahn Equation with Singular Potentials and Dynamic Boundary Condition [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper, we investigate optimal control problems for Allen-Cahn equations with singular nonlinearities and a dynamic boundary condition involving singular nonlinearities and the Laplace-Beltrami operator.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Valuation of boundary-linked assets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
This article studies the valuation of boundary-linked assets and their derivatives in continuous-time markets. Valuing boundary-linked assets requires the solution of a stochastic differential equation with boundary conditions, which, often, is not ...
