Entanglement properties of boundary state and thermalization
We discuss the regularized boundary state e−τ0H|Ba $$ {e}^{-{\tau}_0H}\Big|{\left.B\right\rangle}_a $$ on two aspects in both 2D CFT and higher dimensional free field theory.

Boundary effects in quantum field theory
Electromagnetic and scalar fields are quantized in the region near an arbitrary smooth boundary, and the renormalized expectation value of the stress-energy tensor is calculated. The energy density is found to diverge as the boundary is approached.

Complexity in the presence of a boundary
The effects of a boundary on the circuit complexity are studied in two dimensional theories. The analysis is performed in the holographic realization of a conformal field theory with a boundary by employing different proposals for the dual of the ...

Quantum radiation by an Unruh-DeWitt detector in oscillatory motion
Quantum radiated power emitted by an Unruh-DeWitt (UD) detector in linear oscillatory motion in (3+1)D Minkowski space, with the internal harmonic oscillator minimally coupled to a massless scalar field, is obtained non-perturbatively by numerical method.

Duality and transport for supersymmetric graphene from the hemisphere partition function
We use localization to compute the partition function of a four dimensional, supersymmetric, abelian gauge theory on a hemisphere coupled to charged matter on the boundary.

Unruh quantum Otto engine in the presence of a reflecting boundary [PDF]
We introduce a new model of relativistic quantum analogue of the classical Otto engine in the presence of a perfectly reflecting boundary. A single qubit acts as the working substance interacting with a massless quantum scalar field, with the boundary obeying the Dirichlet condition. The quantum vacuum serves as a thermal bath through the Unruh effect.

Connecting Fisher information to bulk entanglement in holography
In the context of relating AdS/CFT to quantum information theory, we propose a holographic dual of Fisher information metric for mixed states in the boundary field theory.

Properties of RG interfaces for 2D boundary flows
We consider RG interfaces for boundary RG flows in two-dimensional QFTs. Such interfaces are particular boundary condition changing operators linking the UV and IR conformal boundary conditions. We refer to them as RG operators.

A Lorentzian inversion formula for defect CFT
We present a Lorentzian inversion formula valid for any defect CFT that extracts the bulk channel CFT data as an analytic function of the spin variable.

Topological quantum field theories on manifolds with a boundary [PDF]
We consider a class of exactly soluble topological quantum field theories on manifolds with a boundary that are invariant on-shell under diffeomorphisms which preserve the boundary. After showing that the functional integral of the two-point function with boundary conditions yields precisely the linking number, we use it to derive topological ...
