Non-homogeneous directional equations: Slice solutions belonging to functions of bounded $L$-index in the unit ball [PDF]
For a given direction $ b\in\mathbb{C}^n\setminus\{0\}$ we study non-homogeneous directional linear higher-order equations whose all coefficients belong to a class of joint continuous functions which are holomorphic on intersection of all directional ...

On strongly starlike and strongly convex functions with bounded radius and bounded boundary rotation
In this paper, we introduce and investigate new classes of normalized analytic functions in an open unit disk with bounded radius and bounded boundary rotation by using the subordination.

New lower bound estimates for quadratures of bounded analytic functions [PDF]
We give an improved lower bound for the error of any quadrature computing $\int_{-1}^1 f(x) d\alpha(x)$ of analytic functions bounded in the neighborhood of $[-1,1]$.

MET variants in the N‐lobe of the kinase domain, found in hereditary papillary renal cell carcinoma, require ligand stimulation to promote cell transformation, in contrast to other RTK variants. This suggests that HGF expression in the microenvironment is important for tumor growth in such patients. Their sensitivity to MET inhibitors opens the way for

Presurgery 72‐h fasting in GB patients leads to adaptations of plasma lipids and polar metabolites. Fasting reduces lysophosphatidylcholines and increases free fatty acids, shifts triglycerides toward long‐chain TGs and increases branched‐chain amino acids, alpha aminobutyric acid, and uric acid.

On concentration of self-bounding functions
We prove some new concentration inequalities for self-bounding functions using the entropy method. As an application, we recover Talagrand's convex distance inequality. The new Bernstein-like inequalities for self-bounding functions are derived thanks to a careful analysis of the so-called Herbst argument. The latter involves comparison results between

Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

Elevated level of cholesterol is positively correlated to prostate cancer development and disease severity. Cholesterol‐lowering drugs, such as statins, are demonstrated to inhibit prostate cancer. VNPP433‐3β interrupts multiple signaling and metabolic pathways, including cholesterol biosynthesis, AR‐mediated transcription of several oncogenes, mRNA 5′

Upper and lower bounds for higher moments of theta functions [PDF]
We obtain optimal lower bounds for moments of theta functions. On the other hand, we also get new upper bounds on individual theta values and moments of theta functions on average over primes. The upper bounds are based on bounds of character sums and in particular on a modification of some recent results of M. Z. Garaev.

Complexity and fractal dimensions for infinite sequences with positive entropy
The complexity function of an infinite word $w$ on a finite alphabet $A$ is the sequence counting, for each non-negative $n$, the number of words of length $n$ on the alphabet $A$ that are factors of the infinite word $w$.
