Bounds for an integral involving the modified Lommel function of the first kind [PDF]
Simple upper and lower bounds are established for the integral $\int_0^x\mathrm{e}^{-\beta u}u^\nu t_{\mu,\nu}(u)\,\mathrm{d}u$, where $x>0$, $0<\beta<1$, $\mu+\nu>-2$, $\mu-\nu\geq-3$, and $t_{\mu,\nu}(x)$ is the modified Lommel function of the first kind.

On rational bounds for the gamma function [PDF]
In the article, we prove that the double inequality [Formula: see text] holds for all [Formula: see text], we present the best possible constants λ and μ such that [Formula: see text] for all [Formula: see text], and we find the value of [Formula: see text] in the interval [Formula: see text] such that [Formula: see text] for [Formula: see text] and ...

In this paper, we consider the Nemytskii operator (Hf)(t) = h(t, f(t)), generated by a given function h. It is shown that if H is globally Lipschitzian and maps the space of functions of bounded (p,2,α)-variation (with respect to a weight function α ...

Extension of functions with bounded finite differences [PDF]
We prove that functions defined on a lattice in a finite dimensional torus with bounded finite differences can be smoothly extended to the whole torus, and relate the bounds on the extension's derivatives with bounds on the original function's finite differences.

Unified bounds for the independence number of graphs [PDF]
The Hoffman ratio bound, Lov\'{a}sz theta function and Schrijver theta function are classical upper bounds for the independence number of graphs, which are useful in graph theory, extremal combinatorics and information theory. By using generalized inverses and eigenvalues of graph matrices, we give bounds for independence sets and the independence ...

New bounds for nonconvex quadratically constrained quadratic programming [PDF]
In this paper, we study some bounds for nonconvex quadratically constrained quadratic programs. We propose two types of bounds for quadratically constrained quadratic programs, quadratic and cubic bounds. For quadratic bounds, we use affine functions as Lagrange multipliers. We demonstrate that most semi-definite relaxations can be obtained as the dual

Uniform Convergence of Double Fourier-Legendre series of Functions of Bounded Generalized Variation [PDF]
The Uniform convergence of double Fourier-Legendre series of function of bounded Harmonic variation and bounded partial $\Lambda $-variation are investigated.

Bounds for functions of multivariate risks
Li et al. [Distributions with Fixed Marginals and Related Topics, vol. 28, Institute of Mathematics and Statistics, Hayward, CA, 1996, pp. 198-212] provide bounds on the distribution and on the tail for functions of dependent random vectors having fixed multivariate marginals.

Bounded Solutions of Parabolic Equations in Continuous Function Spaces
This paper is concerned with the existence of bounded mild solutions to equations of the form u′(t) = Au(t) + f(t), where A generates a holomorphic semigroup that is not necessarily strongly continuous, and f is a bounded function.

Computational Rationality: Linking Mechanism and Behavior Through Bounded Utility Maximization
We propose a framework for including information-processing bounds in rational analyses. It is an application of bounded optimality (Russell & Subramanian, 1995) to the challenges of developing theories of mechanism and behavior.
